5:20 p.m. It was close at the start and close until Laurita's car got very sideways. He stayed with it as long as he could, finally had to lift.

Pilcher was away first, but the car skated over toward the wall and he ahd to lift to stay off the concrete.

Hancock had a psychic light, then Decerbo had problems keeping the tires hooked up and Hancock will race Rahaim in the semifinals. Rahaim has lane choice.

Riesterer was unable to answer the staging call and Castellana gets a free pass to face Jones in the semifinals. Castellana ran it through on an easy pace, gave up lane choice.
