Worsham and Brown have each won 3 times against the other in prior events and this is the first time they have faced each other in a final round. This is Worsham's eighth final round of the season and Brown's fourth.

Great race, the two cars welded together all the way down the track.

Brown is the first driver to win here in both Pro Stock Motorcycle and Top Fuel and he is the first driver other than Larry Dixon and Tony Schumacher to win here at Indy in this century.

Worsham goes into the Countdown in first place, with Brown in second place.
