Wilkerson fairytale weekend comes to an end with tire smoke at the green.

Capps tunes up the NAPA Charger from the first round and powers on down the track for the easy win. Nice clean pass.

Beckman is 6 - 2 against Hagan in prior events. Team DSR to the line.

Beckman is away first first and leads Hagen until just before the 330 lights. Hagan drives on by and just misses a track record with one of the top ten speeds in Funny Car.

Beckman stays close and keeps his track record for speed with a ten foot loss.

Neff is 5 - 2 against Arend in prior events.

Arend is away first, but both cars are dead even at sixty feet. Neff's Mustang starts to pull steadily ahead and then Arend's engine may have lost a belt near the 1000 foot lights.

A great pass for Neff and he steals lane choice from Hagan by just 0.004 seconds.

Tasca III is 3 - 1 against Troxel in prior events.

Tasca away first and then has Troxel drive on by before the 60 foot lights. She stays out in front for just a brief time until the engine expires and the chutes deploy.

Tasca runs hard until just before the finish line, where his engine takes itself apart and oils the track in the win. He keeps his times, but loses 10 points in the Countdown.

Capps will have lane choice later today.
