NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Fifth annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

12:23 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 51 percent, barometer 29.07 inches, adjusted altitude 2,891 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.

Hines is 4 - 0 against Hope in prior events.

Hines gets off the line first but Hope quickly drives around him and pulls away for the win.

Arana won his first race here two years ago and went on to win the championship that year.

Arana gets out of the gate first and increases his lead at every marker.

Phillips gets the holeshot and starts to pull away. Ellis comes off the line, has problems and backs off the throttle.

Berry gets a big advantage off the line, hangs on to the lead for about 300 feet, then Krawiec goes by and takes the win.

Stoffer is 2 - 1 against Underdahl in prior events. Stoffer is the current points leader.

Stoffer completes her burnout and the engine goes silent. They attempt to restart the engine but can't get it to hit. Underdahl gets the single and evens the record with Stoffer.

Underdahl will give up lane choice to Krawiec in the next round.

Gann gets off the line first, stays out in front for the first sixty feet, then Smith drives around him and pulls away for the win.

Smith will have lane choice over Phillips in the next round.

This is the first time Johnson and Savoie have faced each other in eliminations.

Savoie just misses the tree and turns on the red light. Johnson slows near the end of the run and will give up lane choice to Arana.

This is the first time Tonglet and Arana Jr have faced each other in eliminations.

Arana is really late off the line, gets about 100 feet out and the bike goes silent, not sure why. Tonglet goes right down the groove to take the win.

Tonglet will have lane choice over Hope in round two.
