POMONA, Calif. - Notes from final, round 3 qualifying in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 46th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed this round, amount over/under index this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time, speed & over/under Index, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Justin Lamb Runs 8.677/154.12/-0.623, Now #10; G/SMA Index: 9.30, Prior Best: 8.671/154.71/-0.629, Was #10
Right Lane: Steven Kent Runs 7.643/177.56/-0.667, Now #2; E/A Index: 8.31, Prior Best: 7.635/178.02/-0.675, Was #2

Last chance to qualify for the year. Frank Cervelli is on the bump spot at -0.441.

Kent's Vette has a little wiggle off the line and he stays #2 for now.

Lamb runs close to his prior best, but doesn't improve.

Nice pass for Fletcher and he picks up six spots on the ladder.

Marshall slows a little.

Two good passes and Cocuzza moves into the top half of the field.

Wolfe's car is a little snaky off the line, but he finally bumps into the 29th spot for now.

Johnson's altered bounces up and down going down the track and slows.

Hogan gets a pass this time and just bumps into the field for now.

Mihovetz is off the pace and ONLY runs a 0.861 under the index at almost 221 MPH. Looks like big damage, as the NHRA trucks are rolling. Most of the Stuff is after the lights.

Cervelli started the session on the bump and finally gets back in for now.

Bourgeois gets a full pass this time and Moves four spots up the ladder.

Biondo leaves with the front wheels up in the air. The power drives the car towards the guard rail and he has to pedal.

11:36 a.m. John Mihovetz is still number one at 0.937 and Frank Cervelli end up where he started on the bump spot at -0.479.
