McClenathan is 17 - 11 against Grubnic in prior events. McClenathan is out of the gate first never trailed as he runs low E.T. of the weekend for the win. Cory McClenathan's incremental times: 60ft-0.840 sec., 330ft-2.145, 660ft-3.045/283.85 mph. McClenathan with the win moves into second place in the regular season. Grubnic was mixing up cylinders on the top end.

Dixon is 32 - 26 against Kalitta in prior events. Kalitta with the starting line advantage, but Dixon has the difference made up by 300 feet and blast on through for the win with the quickest pass of the event. Dixon has big top end speed again...Larry Dixon's incremental times: 60ft-0.834 sec., 330ft-2.142, 660ft-3.041/283.43 mph. Larry Dixon's MOV: 0.0224 seconds (approximately 10 feet). Kalitta with a real good pass in the losing effort.
