NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, Fourth annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 83 degrees, relative humidity 55 percent, barometer 28.94 inches, adjusted altitude 3,508 feet, track temperature 123 degrees.

Knowles is way early and turns on the red light. Auxier is just a few ticks off his qualifying time.

Von Smith with a slight starting line advantage, but then is out of the groove early and clicks it off. Rickie Smith with a lot of engine smoke right in the lights.

They leave together and then Stivers with violent tire shake and clicks it off. Commisso with a real nice pass for the easy win. He will give up lane choice to Auxier in the next round.
