BRISTOL, Tenn. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series, 10th annual NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals:

Johnson is 6 - 2 against Jones in prior events. They leave together and then Johnson shook the tires hard and pushed in the clutch. Jones with problems on the top end, but still gets the win. The word from the top end is Jones broke a engine.

Coughlin is 24 - 10 against Edwards in prior events. Coughlin with the starting line advantage, but then has problems early and pushes in the clutch. Edwards with a great looking pass for the win and lane choice in the final...
