Kalitta is 19 - 10 against McClenathan in prior events and Kalitta is 2 - 0 against McClenathan in prior final rounds.

Kalitta gave it a valiant try with a much better RT. His small lead quickly disappeared right after the 60 foot lights, as the big slicks spin and smoke. He tries the throttle one more time and gives it up.

Cory Mac is taking no prisoners and runs within 0.001 of his third round ET with a better MPH. That's two for two for Team Schumacher!
