5:14 p.m. Beckman is 8-8 in final in final rounds, 2-2 this year. This is his second final round at this track. He won this event in 2006.

Hight is 13-12 in final rounds, 2-1 this year. He beat Beckman in one final round in Dallas earlier this year. Hight has the three quickest times in eliminations today.

Beckman gets out of the gate first and hangs on to the lead until just past the 330 foot mark. Hight was making up ground quickly and drove around him at that point. Hight kept the candles lit all the way through the run and pulled away for the win.

With this win Hight will have a 105 point lead over his team-mate Force-Hood going into the last race.

Robert Hight's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.024), 330 ft(-0.017), 660ft(0.004). MOV: 0.0127 seconds (approximately 6 feet).
