MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.631/207.59, Now #2; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Mark Hogan Runs 7.255/183.24, Now #17; Best prior run: 21.784/32.58, Was #18

Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 37 percent, barometer 29.65 inches, adjusted altitude 2,398 feet, track temperature 97 degrees.

Nobile with violent tire shake right off the starting line and then made a quick move toward the centerline before he clicked it off. Stanfield with a nice looking pass...Greg Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.990 sec., 330ft-2.777, 660ft-4.270/164.85mph, 1,000ft-5.557

Jones with his best pass, but will go into Saturday not qualified. Gaines with a great short time and then gets into the show. V. Gaines' incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.774, 660ft-4.267/165.17mph, 1,000ft-5.557

Gray had the car sideways on the burnout. Gray then has a great 60-foot time and then runs a 6.63 to go to the number three spot. Edwards with a real nice pass to go to the number three spot...Mike Edwards' incremental times: 60ft-0.984 sec., 330ft-2.771, 660ft-4.261/165.50mph, 1,000ft-5.545 Line was out of the groove right off the line and he reeled it in to get into the show for now. Jason Line's incremental times: 60ft-1.002 sec., 330ft-2.788, 660ft-4.275/166.11mph, 1,000ft-5.558
