ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual O'Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Mark Buehring Runs 17.051/46.68, Now #14; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Lamar Swindoll Jr Runs 6.792/202.97, Now #13; No Prior Run

Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 57 percent, barometer 29.54 inches, adjusted altitude 2,607 feet, track temperature 106 degrees.

Buehring with problems right off the starting line and he coast on through the 1320.

Left Lane: Richie Stevens Runs 6.732/205.88, Now #14; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 6.689/205.85, Now #13; No Prior Run

Yates is the quickest of those that weren't qualified coming into today...Jim Yates' incremental times: 60ft-0.992 sec., 330ft-2.788, 660ft-4.288/164.17mph, 1,000ft-5.586 Humphreys gets into the show and these two bump out Krisher and Stevens. Johnson with the quickest pass of the day...Allen Johnson's incremental times: 60ft-0.986 sec., 330ft-2.785, 660ft-4.284/164.39mph, 1,000ft-5.580 Neither driver improves so they stay Nos. 4 and 12.
