ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual O'Reilly Super Start Batteries NHRA Fall Nationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Right Lane: Redell Harris Runs 7.315/179.42, Now #13; No Prior Run

11:18 a.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 81 degrees, relative humidity 56 percent, barometer 29.54 inches, adjusted altitude 2,643 feet, track temperature 102 degrees.

Left Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 7.171/186.25, Now #14; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Junior Pippin Runs 7.135/185.28, Now #13; No Prior Run

Pippin makes a decent pass and gets in the 13th spot for now, Phillips in the 14th.

Left Lane: David Hope Runs 7.137/184.88, Now #14; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.196/188.38, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.067/189.87, Was #10

DeSantis slows from his earlier runs yesterday and will stay in the 10th spot. Hope was not qualified coming into this round but gets in the 14th spot for now.

Left Lane: Mike Berry Runs 7.111/185.46, Now #13; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Hector Arana Runs 7.063/189.07, Now #5; Best prior run: 7.008/190.16, Was #5

Berry makes a decent pass, gets in the show for now, and bumps out Harris. No help for Arana.

Left Lane: Chip Ellis Runs 7.055/188.04, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.004/189.79, Was #4
Right Lane: Peggy Llewellyn Runs 7.114/186.05, Now #14; No Prior Run

Ellis slows from his runs yesterday and will stay in the fifth spot. Llewellyn ges in the show in the 14th spot.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.044/188.67, Now #6; No Prior Run
Right Lane: Craig Treble Runs 7.058/187.70, Now #9; Best prior run: 7.055/189.50, Was #8

Johnson wasn't qualified coming into this round, but he makes the quickest pass of the session so far and goes all the way to the sixth spot. Treble doesn't improve and drops a notch to ninth.

Left Lane: Chris Rivas Runs 7.166/185.56, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.990/188.81, Was #3
Right Lane: Matt Guidera Runs 7.064/188.04, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.059/188.60, Was #10

Rivas made a great pass in his first attempt, but now is having problems. Guidera makes a decent pass but doesn't improve.

Left Lane: Angie McBride Runs 9.069/84.78, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.109/186.82, Was #13
Right Lane: Angelle Sampey Runs 7.017/187.42, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.053/187.36, Was #8

McBride has problems around half track and backs off the throttle. Sampey makes a great pass, the quickest of the round so far and her quickest of the weekend, to move up to the sixth spot.

Left Lane: Karen Stoffer Runs 7.032/189.58, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.088/190.86, Was #12
Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 7.036/187.47, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.044/188.07, Was #8

Stoffer makes her quickest pass of the weekend and gets in the top half of the field. Smith improves a little and hangs on to the eighth spot.

Left Lane: Eddie Krawiec Runs 10.669/76.35, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.970/191.65, Was #1
Right Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 7.043/188.15, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.985/190.94, Was #2

Krawiec has problems about 400 feet out and slows, not sure why. Hines goes right down the groove but doesn't improve.
