9:29 p.m. Patterson shook and danced ealry, regained traction, then had to pedal again at half track, still managed to run Delehay down. Delehay had a tenth in the bank early, but could not run the number on the big end to back it up. Thomas Patterson's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.095), 330 ft(-0.003), 660ft(0.044), 1,000ft(0.075). MOV: 0.0942 seconds (approximately 31 feet).

Good drag race - both drivers were very late on the tree and the race was close all the way, Spiering taking the lead on the top end. Carl Spiering's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.003), 330 ft(-0.011), 660ft(-0.004), 1,000ft(0.015). MOV: 0.0214 seconds (approximately 7 feet). Spiering will have lane choice against Patterson in the final round.
