NORWALK, Ohio - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Second annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 80 degrees, relative humidity 45 percent, barometer 28.79 inches, adjusted altitude 3,379 feet, track temperature 109 degrees.

Rivas is 2 - 0 against Stoffer in prior events,and won the only time they met in the first round. Rivas with a big starting line advantage and never looked back for the win. Rivas with his quickest pass of the weekend, and Stoffer with her quickest pass of the weekend in a losing effort.

Treble is 11 - 1 against Berry in prior events, and 8 - 1 in first round meeting. But Berry won they last time they raced in round one at Gainesville this year. Treble with his quickest pass of the weekend and the win

Ellis is 8 - 5 against Sampey in prior events, but Sampey won the only time they have raced in round one. This is Angelle's 173rd race and only the 12th time she has qualified in the bottom half of the field. Sampey goes red and Ellis is the first one into the 6-second zone this weekend.

This is the first time Krawiec and DeSantis have faced each other in eliminations. DeSantis with the starting line advantage, but Krawiec has him chased down by 200 feet, and just rides away for the win. Krawiec will have lane choice over Rivas in round two.

Guidera is 3 - 0 against Arana in prior events, and all of their meeting have been in round one. Arana was out of the gate first and never looked back for the win.

Hines is 3 - 0 against Gast in prior events, and 2 -0 in first round meetings. Gast with a big starting line advantage, but Hines is able to chase him down by 800 feet and take the win. Hines will have lane choice over Treble in round two.

This is the first time Johnson and Pippin have faced each other in eliminations. Johnson is off the line first and rides away for the win, he will give up lane choice to Ellis in round two.

Smith is 1 - 0 against Wells in prior events. Wells with a huge starting line advantage, but Smith is able to make up the difference by 100 feet and ride away for the win. Smith will give up lane choice to Arana in round two.
