JOLIET, Ill. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 11th annual Torco Racing Fuels Route 66 NHRA Nationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 88 degrees, relative humidity 63 percent, barometer 29.11 inches, adjusted altitude 3,878 feet, track temperature 112 degrees.

Fuller is 4 - 3 against Lucas in prior events, and fuller has won both times they have raced in the semifinal. Fuller was out of the gate first and never looked back for the win. Lucas was up in smoke as soon as he hit the throttle and had the car sideways before he lifted.

Schumacher is 24 - 9 against Herbert in prior events, and 7 - 1 in semifinal meetings. Herbert with problems when the light turned green and just coasted on through the 1320. Schumacher with a great looking pass to go to his sixth final round of the year. He will have lane choice over Fuller in the final.
