Scelzi is 7 - 4 against Wilkerson in prior events. This is the first time they've faced each other in the third round. Both drivers struck the tires before reaching the 330-foot mark. They both pedaled it a couple times and Wilkerson made it to the finish line first. Tim Wilkerson's incremental margins: 60ft(0.034), 330 ft(0.154), 660ft(0.195), 1,000ft(0.180). Force is 39 - 17 against Capps in prior events, and he holds a 16 - 3 advantage in third round meetings. Capps was up in smoke just before the 330-foot mark. He tried to pedal through it, without success. Force took it straight down the groove for lane choice in the final round.
