It's been six years since V won a race (Dallas 01) and he's got a tough task here against the
hottest driver and car on the tour right now.It's a very close drag race and Gaines gives
Connolly just as much as he can handle. Most of the margin comes from the starting line just like
most of Connolly's races are.
This brings Dave to a historic five straight wins in a row, matched
only by Ronnie Sox, Bob Glidden, and Greg Anderson. The young man has put himself into some very
special company.
