MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 20th annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Weather conditions: air temperature 85 degrees, relative humidity 24 percent, barometer 29.87 inches, adjusted altitude 2,104 feet, track temperature 114 degrees.

Coughlin holds a 27 to 22 advantage in head to head match ups. They leave together, but then Johnson has a lot of tire shake and shuts it off.

Anderson has own Morgan with a 12 to 1 advantage when they race. Anderson was out of the gate first and never looked back for the win and he will have lane choice over Coughlin in the semifinal. Morgan with violent tire shake and you could read the Lucas on the side of his car. He did a great job keeping that car off the wall.

Naylor bet ates the only time they have raced. Naylor with a lot of tire shake and clicked it off...Yates made a quick move toward the centerline, but was able to reel it in and moves on to the semifinal.

The last time the Pro Stock number one qualifier won here was when Darrell Alderman did in 1994, so the jinx lives on.

Stevens was out of the gate first and then has violent tire shake and the car was side ways before he lifted. Connolly with a real nice pass and he will have lane choice over Yates in the semifinal.
