MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 20th annual O'Reilly Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Treble is coming off his US Nationals win. He has beaten Scali eight times and has lost seven. This is Scali's 156th race and his 11th from the number nine spot.

Scali takes a shot at the tree and loses. Treble makes his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

Brown has qualified for 142 consecutive races. He won this race in '04 and was the runner-up in '06.

Bad news for Brown here. He leaves the line late, then gets about 100 feet out and loses the chain, parts coming off all over the track. No problems for Krawiec, just a little slower than his qualifying time, but he gets the win.

Smith is 59-48 in his career. He was the runner-up here in '04. He holds a 2-0 career advantage in head-to-head match-ups with Guidera.

A big upset here, Smith jumps the gun and turns on the red bulb. Guidera cuts a great light and will move on to round two.

Sampey has qualified for 163 races in a row. She won this race in '98 and '99. She is 3-0 facing Arana.

Another upset, Sampey is late off the line, moves around a little early in the run, Arana goes right down the groove for the hole-shot win.

Hines is last off the line but he makes it up quickly and drives around Berry before they reach the 330 foot mark.

This is Rivas' best ever start and his sixth from the top half of the field. Johnson holds a 4-3 career advantage in head-to-head match-ups with Rivas.

Rivas leaves a little too quickly and gives Johnson the win.

This is Ellis' 10th start from the number one spot and he ran a career best ET. He has never won from the number one position. This is Henson's second straight start.

Henson take a shot at the tree and loses. Ellis makes the quickest pass of the round to take the win.

This is the rubber match for these two. They have faced each other twice and have split those two.

Stoffer gets the hole-shot but it isn't enough. Llewellyn starts to make up ground quickly, drives around at the 330 foot mark, then pulls away for the win.

Peggy Llewellyn's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.020), 330 ft(0.003), 660ft(0.016), 1,000ft(0.020). MOV: 0.0175 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

In the next round it will be Ellis with lane choice over Treble, Johnson vs. Arana, Hines vs. Krawiec, and Llewellyn with lane choice over Guidera.
