Stoffer has four wins and three losses against Scali. His last win came oat Sonoma in 2003, when
he won the championship. Scali got out of the gate first but quickly fell behind by the time
they reached 60 feet. Stoffer pulled ahead and was extending her lead when Scali's engine broke
at about 1,000 feet. Stoffer stayed out in front for the win.
