barometer 29.63 inches, adjusted altitude 925 feet, track temperature 90 degrees.
Force won each of the previous two rounds on a holeshot. Burkart got out of the gates just a
thousandth of a second before Force, but Force was out in front at 60 feet. Force pulled ahead
and was leading past the 660 foot marker, then his car broke. Burkart's car broke a split second
later but he had enough left to get by Force and take the win.

Hight's car was wearing the old body, after he damaged the newer body during his
second-round win over Del Worsham. Medlen got off the starting line first but they were tied at
60 feet. Medlen pulled ahead and was leading at 330 feet when he shook the tires and bounced.
While he was bouncing, the engine blew and the chutes came out. Hight got the win and will have
lane choice over Burkart in the final round. Medlen's car left oil on the track and it will cost
him $4,000 and 10 points.
