2:57 p.m. Litton started hazing the tires at half track and then the pipes went wet, probably a broken blower belt. Cooper left
first and never saw Litton, making another clean 300 mph run to go to the final round.

Good drag race, Millican away first and ahead all the way, but both cars went right down the track. Foley was closing the gap to
half track, but Millican opened it up again on the top end. He will have lane choice against Cooper in the final round.
