Line came in with a 5-1 record against Stanfield. Stanfield grabbed a big starting line advantage and made it stick, taking his eighth holeshot win of the season. Greg Stanfield's incremental margins: 60ft(0.041), 330 ft(0.036), 660ft(0.029), 1,000ft(0.021). MOV: 0.0147 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

This is the third time these two have faced each other, Enders winning both of their prior contests. Krisher had one of the quickest runs in the first round and Enders did what she needed to do, earning the first official holeshot win of her Pro Stock career. Erica Enders' incremental margins: 60ft(0.014), 330 ft(0.017), 660ft(0.018), 1,000ft(0.015). MOV: 0.0134 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

These two have raced each other 42 times in the past, Coughlin with a 24-18 advantage in those contests. Coughlin won the battle at the tree, but KJ ran him down beyond the 1,000-foot marker with big top-end power. Kurt Johnson's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.019), 330 ft(-0.018), 660ft(-0.010), 1,000ft(-0.002). MOV: 0.0054 seconds (approximately 19 inches). Coughlin faces Enders in the semifinals and Enders will pick the lanes.

Anderson held an 8-3 record against Pawuk before this round. Pawuk needed a big starting line advantage to have a chance and he didn't get it, Anderson running low ET of the round (by a bunch) to get lane choice against Stanfield in the semifinals.
