MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

Johnson was runner up here in 2001 and has lost two of his three previous races against Rivas. That record is now three losses in four races against Rivas after Rivas beat Johnson at the tree and held him off for the win.

This is Guidera's seventh start and Schnitz's 14th start. Guidera had the better light and led the race to 1,000 feet until Schnitz got by him for the win. Ryan Schnitz's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.040), 330 ft(-0.050), 660ft(-0.038), 1,000ft(-0.013). MOV: 0.0183 seconds (approximately 5 feet).

Brown made his 112th consecutive start here today and went out early on a red light. Treble got the win in his 103rd start.

This is Ellis's 17th race. He's qualified for 16 of them in the top half of the field. Phillips won here in 2003 and that was the last time he has won an NHRA national event. Ellis got this race and will have lane choice over Rivas in the next round.

Hines started from the number one spot for the 17th time in his career and 9th time this season. He got the win here for his sixth career victory over Scali in eliminations.
