MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

This is Morgan's 257th start. Connolly has an eight to one advantage in head to head match ups. Morgan is out of the gate first with a great reaction time and holds on to win with a hole shot win as they run identical ETs. Larry Morgan's incremental margins: 60ft(0.004), 330 ft(0.006), 660ft(0.009), 1,000ft(0.010). MOV: 0.0085 seconds (approximately 3 feet).

This is the second straight race these two have raced in round one with Smith winning in INDY. Smith with the starting line advantage, but then something broke and Enders collects her first Pro Stock win and is only the second woman to win a round in Pro Stock. Enders with her quickest pass of the weekend.

WJ was runner-up here in the first race here in '85. Jeg holds a 24 to 21 advantage in head to head match ups. They both take their time staging and finally WJ goes in first. but then Jeg is out of the gate first. WJ with the quickest pass of the weekend to chase Jeg down just before the finish line. Warren Johnson's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.036), 330 ft(-0.020), 660ft(-0.008), 1,000ft(-0.001). MOV: 0.0045 seconds (approximately 16 inches).

Line is the first higher qualified car to take the right lane. Johnson is out gate first, but Line has him chased down by half track and Line with the quickest and fastest pass of the weekend. Line will have lane choice over Morgan in the next round.

Stanfield did his job on the Christmas tree, but Anderson was able to chase him down by just before half track. Anderson with low ET of the weekend and he will have lane choice over Enders in the next round.
