12:50 PM Ricketts launched, shook a bit, then there was a POP from his car and he slowed.

Ormsby's car blew the tires away instantly, sending dense clouds of smoke in the air. Nice run by Johnson, his best of the weekend, to earn lane choice against Wells in the semifinals.

Bowler was late, then ran a good lap, but Santos was on time and then ran his best lap of the weekend.

Cannon had Gallant covered, but his car fell off the pace at half track and Gallant edged by for the win, Cannon running his slowest time of the weekend. Gallant's margins (negative means he's trailing): 60ft(-0.055), 330 ft(-0.092), 660ft(-0.045), 1,000ft(0.028). MOV: 0.0654 seconds (approximately 24 feet). 2002 champion Gallant meets 2001 champion Santos in the semifinals and Santos has lane choice, by a tenth of a second!
