Coan is a little too quick off of the line and goes red giving the win to Hanratty. hanratty backs off of the throttle early to save his index.

Ratliff gets the advantage off of the line and takes the stripe for the win.

Tindle has problems in the shutdown area. The rear of the dragster starts bouncing up and down, makes a move to the left and hits the retaining wall. The dragster rolls twice before landing back on all four wheels. She is out of the car and appears to be okay.

Ratliff will take on Hanratty in the next round.
