NORWALK, Ohio – Summit Motorsports Park, widely known as "America's Racetrack," is ecstatic to announce its action-packed 2026 season schedule. The 2026 season will be a landmark year, as the park joins the motorsports community in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), a milestone that will be honored throughout the year at the Norwalk, Ohio stadium.

“We are ready to make 2026 our biggest and best season yet,” said Bill Bader, Jr., President of Summit Motorsports Park. “Celebrating 75 years of NHRA history is a tremendous honor, and our schedule is packed with the marquee events our fans have come to love, including some significant anniversaries of our own. Get ready for a year of record-breaking performances and unmatched family fun!”

2026 Season Highlights

The schedule is anchored by several long-standing, tradition-rich events, many of which are celebrating their own major anniversaries:

• The 25th Annual PRW Power Blue Suede Cruise: Celebrating its silver anniversary, this fan-favorite weekend showcases classic cars, nitromethane burning nostalgia dragsters, funny cars and fuel altereds, sixty-four gassers, front motor dragsters, 3000+ street rodders, fun runs, live music and fireworks.

• The 20th Annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals: A crown jewel on the Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, this NHRA event features the biggest stars in professional drag racing, competing for glory on the famed Summit Motorsports Park quarter mile.

• The 20th Annual Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser: This highly anticipated NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series double event will include 600+ sportsman racers from all over North America and showcase Top Alcohol Dragsters and Funny Cars.

• The 35th Annual Ames Performance Pontiac Nationals: The premier event for all things Pontiac returns, bringing decades of horsepower and brand history to the track.

• The 49th Annual Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire: The largest single-day drag race in the world is back with more power, more fire, and more excitement than ever before, introducing the all-new King Of Nitro Top Fuel versus Funny Car format, promising an unforgettable spectacle!
