ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 64 percent, barometer 29.86 inches, adjusted altitude 2,115 feet, track temperature 90 degrees.

Tony Stewart has qualified 8th twice this year and gone to the final round both times. Clay Millican's only win this year came over Stewart in Pomona.

Millican is 2 - 1 against Stewart in prior events.

Millican with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. Millican started to mix up cylinders right in the lights and banged the blower. Millican with his quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

Force with the slight starting line advantage and is straight down the groove for the win. she runs another big top end speed. Brittany Force's incremental times: 60ft-0.852 sec., 330ft-2.140, 660ft-3.014/294.06 mph.

Schumacher is up in smoke early and clicked it off.

Satenstein with the starting line advantage, but has a fuel leak and leaves a trails of flaming fuel behind him. The car is sideways and crossed the centerline and the car was on two wheels. He kept it off the wall. He did a great job driving.

Reed is straight down the groove for the win.

This is the first time Langdon and King have faced each other in eliminations.

Langdon with the starting line advantage and never trailed for the win. He makes the quickest pass of race day. He will have lane choice over Millican by 0.003 seconds.

King is up in smoke right at the hit and clicks it off.

Antron Brown wins 80% of his Rd. 1 races when he has lane choice. Ida Zetterstrom's perfect reaction time in St. Louis was just the 5th in TF history.

Brown with the starting line advantage, but is up in smoke by 330 feet and clicked it off.

Zetterstrom had the lead by 200 feet then around half track she started to lose traction and mix up cylinders. The engine lets go with a huge fireball sending parts of the blower high into the air. She still gets the win.

Hart with the starting line advantage, but started to haze the tires and pedaled it, but couldn't get it to hook up. Torrence started to haze the tires and pedal it and got it to hook up enough to get the win. He will give up lane choice to Reed in the next round.
