Pro Stock Motorcycle Qualifying Notes, Final Session

ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Charles Poskey Runs 10.047/84.96, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.081/189.40, Was #15
Right Lane: Lance Bonham No Time, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.262/181.55, Was #16

5:09 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 88 degrees, relative humidity 34 percent, barometer 29.91 inches, adjusted altitude 2,936 feet, track temperature 126 degrees.

Poskey has problems late in the run and is off of the throttle early. Bonham broke right off of the line.

Left Lane: Ryan Oehler Runs 6.952/196.00, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.886/196.27, Was #14
Right Lane: Clayton Howey Runs 6.868/196.62, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.883/195.92, Was #13

Oehler makes a decent pass but doesn't improve. Howey runs a career best and moves up to the ninth spot.

Left Lane: Jianna Evaristo Runs 6.963/195.87, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.881/195.36, Was #13
Right Lane: Chris Bostick Runs 8.852/100.36, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.880/194.28, Was #12

Evaristo makes a clean pass but doesn't improve. Bostick had problems and was off of the throttle early.

Left Lane: Marc Ingwersen Runs 7.188/194.76, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.869/194.38, Was #10
Right Lane: Kelly Clontz Runs 6.877/198.60, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.871/198.94, Was #11

Ingwersen slows from his earlier attempts. Clontz makes a decent pass for the conditions but doesn't improve.

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 6.848/196.36, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.826/198.24, Was #7
Right Lane: Chase Van Sant Runs 12.985/53.20, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.835/198.96, Was #8

Johnson makes a good run for the conditions but he doesn't improve. Van Sant had problems and was off of the throttle early.

Left Lane: Angie Smith Runs 6.839/199.28, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.803/200.15, Was #5
Right Lane: John Hall Runs 6.835/199.12, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.815/200.38, Was #6

Smith makes a good pass but doesn't improve. Hall makes the quickest pass of the round so far.

Left Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.842/199.61, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.777/199.07, Was #4
Right Lane: Brayden Davis No Time, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.771/201.46, Was #3

Davis did not make a pass. Smith made a good run but didn't improve.

Left Lane: Richard Gadson Runs 6.764/200.18, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.747/201.59, Was #1
Right Lane: Gaige Herrera Runs 6.752/200.71, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.758/201.32, Was #2

Gerrera makes his quickest pass of the weekend and will pick up three bonus points. Gadson makes a good run but he doesn't improve.

Richard Gadson's incremental times: 60ft-1.038 sec., 330ft-2.815, 660ft-4.323/162.70 mph, 1,000ft-5.640.

Gaige Herrera's incremental times: 60ft-1.049 sec., 330ft-2.821, 660ft-4.322/163.40 mph, 1,000ft-5.633.
