ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Top Fuel at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Right Lane: Mitch King Runs 4.030/302.30, Now #15; Best prior run: 4.131/259.23, Was #15

Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 43 percent, barometer 30.01 inches, adjusted altitude 2,457 feet, track temperature 117 degrees.

King kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove with a good pass.

Left Lane: Kyle Satenstein Runs 3.948/278.79, Now #15; Best prior run: 3.948/278.79, Was #15
Right Lane: Cameron Ferre Runs 4.031/278.72, Now #17; Best prior run: 4.031/278.72, Was #17

Satenstein didn't make a pass yesterday. He kept it hooked up and gets in the show.

Ferre was straight down the groove with his quickest pass the weekend, but still gets bumped out of the show.

Right Lane: Doug Foley Runs 5.772/113.22, Now #14; Best prior run: 3.826/321.41, Was #14

Salinas' car doesn't move when the light turns green and she coast on down the track.

Foley was up in smoke right at the hit.

Left Lane: Tony Schumacher Runs 3.793/320.63, Now #11; Best prior run: 3.745/335.50, Was #11
Right Lane: Ida Zetterstrom Runs 5.963/106.17, Now #13; Best prior run: 3.788/326.70, Was #13

Schumacher with a good looking pass early and started to haze the tires right in the lights.

Zetterstrom was up in smoke early and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Josh Hart Runs 3.793/330.23, Now #10; Best prior run: 3.740/330.79, Was #10
Right Lane: Clay Millican Runs 6.508/92.41, Now #9; Best prior run: 3.737/333.63, Was #9

Hart launched hard and kept it hooked up to make a good pass. He will ot improve.

Millican is u in smoke by 200 feet and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Tony Stewart Runs 3.936/250.42, Now #8; Best prior run: 3.724/331.86, Was #8
Right Lane: Doug Kalitta Runs 4.768/159.57, Now #5; Best prior run: 3.701/338.37, Was #5

Stewart with a good looking pass early, but started to haze the tires on the top end and clicked it off.

Kalitta was up in smoke around 300 feet and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Steve Torrence Runs 9.272/99.88, Now #7; Best prior run: 3.709/332.59, Was #7
Right Lane: Antron Brown Runs 3.817/331.74, Now #4; Best prior run: 3.695/336.70, Was #4

Torrence was flickering the bulb, then double stepped it. He was up in smoke right at the hit and clicked it off.

Brown kept it hooked up and makes a good clean pass.

Left Lane: Brittany Force Runs 3.863/331.32, Now #6; Best prior run: 3.703/340.57, Was #6
Right Lane: Shawn Reed Runs 3.835/326.73, Now #2; Best prior run: 3.685/333.56, Was #2

This was a good side-by-side drag race.

Force kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove.

Reed launched hard and had it hitting on all eight with a good clean pass.

Right Lane: Shawn Langdon Runs 4.851/148.96, Now #1; Best prior run: 3.684/338.88, Was #1

Ashley kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight with a good pass. Justin Ashley's incremental times: 60ft-0.858 sec., 330ft-2.178, 660ft-3.064/289.17 mph.

Langdon was up in smoke around half track and clicked it off.
