BRADENTON, Fla. - Drag Illustrated is proud to announce Modern Racing as the Official Turn-Key Solution of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service. Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, Modern Racing has become the trusted one-stop-shop for racers seeking turn-key solutions for wiring, plumbing, fabrication, tuning, and more. This partnership underscores both organizations' commitment to providing exceptional support to the drag racing community.

"Everyone here at Modern Racing is thrilled to be part of such a large and exciting race series," said Justin Elkes, owner of Modern Racing. "Through the years, we've been lucky enough to become the go-to place for turn-key solutions, which means we've had the honor of working with most of the drivers in the field today, especially the Pro Mod racers. Not only does this partnership give us the chance to give back and support our current customers, but it gives us the opportunity to introduce ourselves to the other racers we've yet to reach. Whether it's assistance with wiring, plumbing, fabrication, tuning, or just getting the parts you need to keep your trailer stocked and prepped, we're ready to help every customer get the job done."

Modern Racing's extensive experience with performance parts, electronics, and data acquisition has cemented its reputation as an essential resource for racers. From NHRA Pro Stock teams to PDRA Pro Nitrous record holders, Elkes and his team are known for delivering race-ready solutions and offering exceptional customer support.

"With the 'build season' coming up, we're excited to help our customers take their rides to the next level," Elkes added. "I believe what's kept us growing and thriving is the customer support we offer, both before and after the purchase. In today's world, where mega-corporations focus more on moving products out the door, we're more interested in meeting our customers' needs and getting them down the track as easily, safely, and, of course, as fast as possible."

Wes Buck, founder and editorial director of Drag Illustrated and promoter of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series, praised the partnership and its importance to the racing community.

Modern Racing's Justin Elkes works with four-time NHRA Top Fuel world champion Antron Brown
to get him fitted for his Pro Mod debut in the DI Winter Series.
"Justin and the entire team at Modern Racing are a huge part of the doorslammer drag racing community, and they provide an invaluable service to my racers that we're genuinely appreciative of," said Buck. "Ensuring the success of all these racers and their teams is among our top priorities, and knowing they have options like Modern Racing to make their cars legitimately race-ready is awesome. We're excited to have them join this movement and be part of the DI Winter Series for years to come."

Modern Racing's commitment to excellence and customer-focused approach aligns perfectly with the mission of the Drag Illustrated Winter Series. The series, which kicks off this December, is set to feature high-stakes competition and some of the best racers in the sport.
