POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 59th annual In-N-Out NHRA Finals:

This is the first time Fricke and Olivarez have faced each other in eliminations.

Olivarez with the starting line advantage, but has a cylinder out early. Fricke has the lead by 300 feet and never trailed for the win. She keeps her championship hopes alive.

Green with another good looking pass for the win. He will have lane choice over Severance in the next round.

Coughlin with a near perfect light, but lost traction and clicked it off.

Cowie launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the round and gets the win. Cowie with the win, wins the Top Alcohol Championship. He will have lane choice over Grisel in the next round.
