POMONA, Calif. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 59th annual In-N-Out NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Right Lane: Joey Grose Runs 6.654/207.30, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 58 degrees, relative humidity 46 percent, barometer 29.93 inches, adjusted altitude 1,409 feet, track temperature 94 degrees.

Grose is straight down the groove with a good clean pass.

Left Lane: Derrick Reese Runs 6.562/210.34, Now #2
Right Lane: Camrie Caruso Runs 6.515/209.07, Now #1

Reese is straight down the groove with his career quickest and fastest pass.

Caruso is straight down the groove with her quickest pass of the season. Camrie Caruso's incremental times: 60ft-0.981 sec., 330ft-2.731, 660ft-4.192/168.43 mph, 1,000ft-5.451.

Reed with a good clean pass.

Delco with a good pass, but in the shutdown area the chutes were out late and the brakes locked up. He got safely stopped.
