LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 24th annual Ford Performance NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 6.659/206.61, Now #13; Best prior run: 9.481/96.89, Was #18

Weather conditions: air temperature 69 degrees, relative humidity 21 percent, barometer 29.82 inches, adjusted altitude 3,297 feet.

Coughlin Jr. gets it to hook up and is straight down the groove. He gets in the show to the number 13 spot. Troy Coughlin Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.997 sec., 330ft-2.788, 660ft-4.284/164.23 mph, 1,000ft-5.573.

Left Lane: Joey Grose Runs 6.702/204.60, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.531/125.13, Was #18
Right Lane: Derrick Reese Runs 6.673/205.19, Now #17; Best prior run: 10.962/80.43, Was #19

Grose makes a move in the right direction, but will not get in the show.

Reese kept it hooked up, but just misses getting in the show.

Left Lane: Cristian Cuadra Runs 6.638/205.85, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.705/205.51, Was #19
Right Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.700/205.29, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.669/204.70, Was #15

Cuadra launched hard and kept it hooked up to get in the show. He goes to the number 10 spot. Cristian Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.985 sec., 330ft-2.770, 660ft-4.263/164.41 mph, 1,000ft-5.551.

No help here for McGaha.

Left Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.678/206.10, Now #17; Best prior run: 6.671/205.22, Was #17
Right Lane: Eric Latino Runs 6.663/205.38, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.668/203.31, Was #15

Delco with a clean pass, but will not get in the show.

Latino kept it hooked up and was straight down the groove. He will stay in the number 15 spot.

Left Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 6.640/205.69, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.656/205.98, Was #12
Right Lane: Jerry Tucker Runs 6.657/206.99, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.657/206.70, Was #13

McGaha is straight down the groove to move up the ladder one spot. Mason McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.763, 660ft-4.261/164.17 mph, 1,000ft-5.552.

Tucker kept it hooked up and matches his E.T. from earlier today. Jerry Tucker's incremental times: 60ft-0.993 sec., 330ft-2.787, 660ft-4.281/164.37 mph, 1,000ft-5.571.

Left Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.618/205.41, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.635/205.88, Was #8
Right Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.637/205.29, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.655/205.19, Was #12

Coughlin launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number four spot. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.752, 660ft-4.244/164.31 mph, 1,000ft-5.531.

Hartford with a good looking pass to move up the ladder a couple spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.985 sec., 330ft-2.769, 660ft-4.262/164.25 mph, 1,000ft-5.549.

Left Lane: Camrie Caruso Runs 15.617/52.70, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.633/203.55, Was #8
Right Lane: Fernando Cuadra Jr. Runs 6.645/206.32, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.636/205.94, Was #9

Caruso with severe tire shake and clicked it off.

Cuadra Jr. with a good pass, but will not improve.

Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.597/207.02, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.618/204.98, Was #5
Right Lane: Cory Reed Runs 7.077/157.03, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.631/205.57, Was #7

Anderson launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.742, 660ft-4.231/164.61 mph, 1,000ft-5.514.

Reed shook and clicked it off.

Left Lane: Dallas Glenn Runs 6.615/205.29, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.616/204.54, Was #4
Right Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.648/206.64, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.621/206.89, Was #6

Glenn improve by a tick, but will stay in the number four spot. Dallas Glenn's incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.758, 660ft-4.246/164.93 mph, 1,000ft-5.529.

Enders slows from earlier today and will stay in the number six spot.

Left Lane: David Cuadra Runs 6.613/206.04, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.605/206.51, Was #2
Right Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.609/205.66, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.615/207.15, Was #3

Cuadra kept it hooked up, but will not improve. David Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.980 sec., 330ft-2.757, 660ft-4.245/164.89 mph, 1,000ft-5.529.

Stanfield launched hard and was straight down the groove. He makes his quickest pass today, but will stay in the number three spot. Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.973 sec., 330ft-2.751, 660ft-4.239/165.03 mph, 1,000ft-5.524.
