ENNIS, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 39th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Malcolm Phillips Jr. Runs 7.048/191.68, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.020/190.44, Was #14

4:06 p.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 92 degrees, relative humidity 33 percent, barometer 29.96 inches, adjusted altitude 3,159 feet, track temperature 122 degrees.

Phillips makes a decent pass but doesn't improve.

Left Lane: Ryan Oehler Runs 8.795/103.71, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.956/192.88, Was #13
Right Lane: Ron Tornow Runs 6.932/197.85, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.354/195.09, Was #15

Oehler has problems and is off of the throttle early. Tornow makes his quickest pass of the weekend and he moves up to the 13th spot.

Left Lane: Marc Ingwersen Runs 6.895/198.04, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.856/197.89, Was #10
Right Lane: Geno Scali Runs 7.425/147.80, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.903/195.89, Was #12

Ingwersen makes a decent run but doesn't improve. Scali has problems and is off of the throttle early.

Left Lane: Richard Gadson Runs 6.908/197.27, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.840/198.75, Was #9
Right Lane: Chris Bostick Runs 6.870/197.26, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.877/197.76, Was #11

Bostick makes his quickest pass of the weekend but he stays in the 11th spot.

Left Lane: Chase Van Sant Runs 6.832/198.92, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.833/200.22, Was #8
Right Lane: Angie Smith Runs 6.820/201.20, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.808/201.41, Was #6

Van Sant has a small improvement but stays in the eighth spot. No improvement for Smith.

Left Lane: John Hall Runs 6.916/180.13, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.824/199.89, Was #7
Right Lane: Matt Smith Runs 6.756/201.77, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.796/201.56, Was #5

Smith goes down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend and moves up to the second spot.

Right Lane: Jianna Evaristo Runs 6.848/201.09, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.778/201.81, Was #4

Two decent runs but no improvement.

Herrera slows from his earlier attempts. Arana does not improve.
