ENNIS, Texas - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 39th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals:

10:58 a.m. Weather conditions: air temperature 78 degrees, relative humidity 58 percent, barometer 30.10 inches, adjusted altitude 2,205 feet.
Nataas is 1 - 0 against Sampey in prior events.

Sampey goes up in smoke at the hit, pedals once, then gives up on the run. Nataas gets about 300 feet out, strikes the tires and has to pedal.

Severance leaves the line and the car shuts down about 20 feet out. Wolf goes down the groove with a good run and takes the win.

This is the first time Blinzler and Cowie have faced each other in eliminations.
A coin flip off of the line, Cowie goes down the groove with a good run to take the win.

Shawn Cowie's incremental times: 60ft-0.958 sec., 330ft-2.393, 660ft-3.502/223.44 mph, 1,000ft-4.455.

Hunter Green's incremental times: 60ft-0.949 sec., 330ft-2.406, 660ft-3.495/230.47 mph, 1,000ft-4.423.
Karen Stalba's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.022), 330 ft(-0.013), 660ft(-0.007), 1,000ft(-0.001). MOV: 0.0031 seconds (approximately 15 inches).

Stalba will have lane choice over Fricke in the next round.

Dean gets out of the gate first but Maynard reels him in quickly and pulls away for the win with his quickest pass of the weekend.
Joe Maynard's incremental times: 60ft-0.921 sec., 330ft-2.378, 660ft-3.466/229.46 mph, 1,000ft-4.403.

Maynard will have lane choice over Cowie in the next round.

Januik leaves the line and starts rattling the tires. he makes a move to the right, then back to the left, then he gives up on the run. Cummings goes down the groove with a clean pass to take the win.

Cummings will have lane choice over Wolf in the next round.

They leave the line together and Coughlin starts pulling away. Payne makes her quickest pass of the weekend but fell back from the 330 marker through the rest of the run. Coughlin makes his quickest pass of the year to take the win.
Mike Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.921 sec., 330ft-2.381, 660ft-3.471/229.72 mph, 1,000ft-4.403.
Madison Payne's incremental times: 60ft-0.964 sec., 330ft-2.423, 660ft-3.519/227.89 mph, 1,000ft-4.457.

Coughlin will have lane choice over nataas in the next round.
