GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 55th annual NHRA Gatornationals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 71 degrees, relative humidity 52 percent, barometer 30.00 inches, adjusted altitude 1,224 feet, track temperature 101 degrees.
This is the first time Thorne and Wright have faced each other in eliminations.

Thorne with the starting line advantage, they both start to shake. They both make quick pedal jobs around 300 feet and Thorne gets the win.

Wilson is 1 - 0 against Thielen in prior events.
Wilson with problems on the burnout and is out of the car and over the wall.

Thielen with the freebie and he shakes and clicks it off and coast for the win. He will give up lane choice to Thorne in the semifinal.

Gonzalez with a great light and the power to hold on for the hole shot win. Gonzalez with his quickest pass of th weekend for the win.

Bond with the second quickest pass of the event in the losing effort.

This is the first time Scruggs and Quartuccio have faced each other in eliminations.
Quartuccio with the starting line advantage, but has severe tire shake and clicked it off.

Scruggs launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the third quickest pass of the event for the win and lane choice in the semifinal against Gonzalez.
