GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 55th annual NHRA Gatornationals:

Tasca III is 10 - 6 against DeJoria in prior events.
Tasca gets the advantage off of the line and goes down the groove with a good run. DeJoria wasw a little behind off of the line and lost ground all the way through the run.

Bob Tasca III's incremental margins: 60ft(0.032), 330 ft(0.069), 660ft(0.087). MOV: 0.1056 seconds (approximately 51 feet).

Hagan is 6 - 2 against Green in prior events.

Hagan hit the throttle and went up in smoke. Green went right down the groove, improving on his first round time and takes the win.

Capps is 16 - 9 against Todd in prior events.
They both stage, Todd double steps the throttle, and Capps reacts a little too quickly and goes red giving the win to Todd. Todd had traction problems right off of the line and was off of the throttle early.

Tasca will have lane choice over Todd in the next round.

Prock gets out of the gate first and starts to pull away. Force stays close but Prock pulls away after they pass the 660 foot mark and takes the stripe for the win.

Prock will have lane choice over Green in the next round.
