GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, 55th annual NHRA Gatornationals:

Bruce gets out of the gate first but Stalba reels him in before they reach the 330 foot mark and goes around him for the win with her quickest pass of the weekend.

Smith gets the advantage off of the line but Green drove around her before they reached the 60 foot mark. Green goes down the groove with his quickest pass of the weekend to take the win.

Stevens leaves too soon, rattles the tires, then gives up on the run. Sampey shook a little off of the line but drove through it and took the win.

Coughlin gets the holeshot, stays in front pas the 60 foot mark, then Nataas drives around him and pulls away for the win. Nataas makes her quickest pass of the weekend in the win.
Julie Nataas' incremental times: 60ft-0.948 sec., 330ft-2.416, 660ft-3.506/229.74 mph, 1,000ft-4.435.

Green will have lane choice over Nataas in the next round.

Fricke gets out of the gate first and starts pulling away. Chatterson had problems right off of the line and was out of power early, slowly coasting across the finish line.

McBride hits the throttle but has a cylinder out on the right side all the way through the run. Wolf goes down the groove with a good run and pulls away for the win.

Wolf will have lane choice over Fricke in the next round.

Maynard gets out of the gate first and starts pulling away. Dietrich makes his quickest pass of the weekend but was falling behind all the way through the run.
Joe Maynard's incremental times: 60ft-0.943 sec., 330ft-2.402, 660ft-3.490/229.47 mph, 1,000ft-4.423.

Maynard will have lane choice over Sampey in the next round.

Veale gets the holeshot but Cummings starts reeling him in. Cummings gets about 300 feet out, loses a cylinder on the right side, then Veale starts pulling away. Veale extends his lead and takes the holeshot win.
Jeff Veale's incremental margins: 60ft(0.025), 330 ft(0.011), 660ft(0.017), 1,000ft(0.041). MOV: 0.0641 seconds (approximately 24 feet).

Stalba will have lane choice over Veale in the next round.
