POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 58th annual In-N-Out NHRA Finals:

Vetter strikes the tires right off the line and slows.

Parker is way lucky with a terrible RT and still takes the easy win on a slowing pass.

This is the first time Severance and Green have faced each other in eliminations.

Upset! Severance looked to have an easy win, with Green smoking the tires right off the line. A little further down the track Severance's engine goes silent and he is coasting. Green pumps the pedal sever times and finally drive right on by for the win.

Hunter Green's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.204), 330 ft(-1.228), 660ft(-0.478), 1,000ft(1.258). MOV: 3.3595 seconds (more than 100 feet).

Stewart gets away first, but Cowie has the power and drive right on by right before the 330 foot light and take the close win. He will have lane choice over Parker in round three tomorrow.

Stewart makes his best run of the weekend to no avail.

Bateman gets away first and steadily pulls ahead to the finish line for a decisive win. He will have lane choice over Green next round.

Matthew Cummings' incremental times: 60ft-0.948 sec., 330ft-2.449, 660ft-3.548/228.23 mph, 1,000ft-4.484.
