POMONA, Calif. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 58th annual In-N-Out NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Joey Grose Runs 6.630/205.51, Now #21; Best prior run: 23.538/61.31, Was #23

Weather conditions: air temperature 73 degrees, relative humidity 14 percent, barometer 29.98 inches, adjusted altitude 2,205 feet, track temperature 94 degrees.

Grose is straight down the groove, he improves, but not enough to get in the show.

Left Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.510/210.08, Now #5; Best prior run: 13.771/64.32, Was #23
Right Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 9.004/104.68, Now #21; Best prior run: 6.629/206.35, Was #20

Butner launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number five spot. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.723, 660ft-4.184/168.28 mph, 1,000ft-5.445.

Prusiensky makes a quick move toward the centerline when he lets the clutch out and clicks it off.

Left Lane: Eric Latino Runs 6.557/208.17, Now #18; Best prior run: 11.210/80.38, Was #23
Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.569/209.88, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.584/208.97, Was #18

Latino got the car to hook up and improves, but not enough to get in the show.

Delco with his quickest pass, but will not get in the show.

Left Lane: Steve Graham Runs 6.594/208.59, Now #20; Best prior run: 6.610/201.22, Was #21
Right Lane: Dallas Glenn Runs 6.546/209.98, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.555/209.62, Was #17

Graham with his quickest pass this season, but will not get in the show.

Glenn is straight down the groove and he and ties Caruso but gives up the spot based on his slower speed.

Left Lane: Val Smeland Runs 6.811/195.85, Now #21; Best prior run: 6.597/205.54, Was #21
Right Lane: Camrie Caruso Runs 6.518/210.54, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.546/211.00, Was #15

Smeland starts to drift out of the groove and over by the wall before he clicked it off.

Caruso kept it hooked up and is straight down the groove into the top half of the field. Camrie Caruso's incremental times: 60ft-0.966 sec., 330ft-2.723, 660ft-4.188/168.24 mph, 1,000ft-5.452.

Left Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.554/209.56, Now #17; Best prior run: 6.550/209.20, Was #17
Right Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 6.540/210.64, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.542/210.50, Was #14

Chris with a clean pass, but will not improve and will not get in the show.

Mason was straight down the groove with his quickest pass and moves up the ladder one spot.

Left Lane: Cristian Cuadra Runs 6.538/210.67, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.544/210.70, Was #15
Right Lane: Fernando Cuadra Jr. Runs 6.526/209.49, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.541/210.11, Was #14

Cristian with a good pass, his quickest and moves up the ladder one spot. Cristian Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.968 sec., 330ft-2.729, 660ft-4.200/167.34 mph, 1,000ft-5.469.

Cuadra Jr.kept it hooked up all the way down the 1320 to go to the number 10 spot.

Left Lane: Jerry Tucker Runs 6.521/210.24, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.525/210.44, Was #9
Right Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 8.900/106.63, Now #13; Best prior run: 6.535/206.45, Was #13

Tucker is straight down the groove with the third quickest pass of the session. He will stay in the number nine spot.

Cuadra gets loose early and clicks it off.



Left Lane: Kyle Koretsky Runs 6.515/210.11, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.521/211.56, Was #8
Right Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.540/209.17, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.532/209.82, Was #12

Koretsky moves up the ladder with the second quickest of the session. Kyle Koretsky's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.726, 660ft-4.190/168.26 mph, 1,000ft-5.452.

Kramer with another good pass, but will not improve.

Left Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.511/209.69, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.513/210.31, Was #6
Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.538/209.62, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.528/210.21, Was #11

Hartford with another good looking pass, straight down the groove. He picks up 0.002 seconds and will stay in the number six spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.719, 660ft-4.184/167.61 mph, 1,000ft-5.447.

Coughlin with another good pass, but will not improve.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.500/210.31, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.506/210.31, Was #4
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.495/211.69, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.501/210.50, Was #3

This is a great side-by-side drag race.

Enders with her quickest pass and she moves up to the number two spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.965 sec., 330ft-2.712, 660ft-4.174/168.26 mph, 1,000ft-5.436.

anderson launched hard and kept it hooked up to go to the number one spot. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.966 sec., 330ft-2.717, 660ft-4.176/168.66 mph, 1,000ft-5.435.

Left Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.507/210.31, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.501/211.10, Was #4
Right Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 6.556/210.57, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.500/210.01, Was #3

Stanfield with another great pass, but will not improve and stays in the number four spot. Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.967 sec., 330ft-2.716, 660ft-4.179/168.30 mph, 1,000ft-5.441.

Coughlin Jr. with a good pass, but will not improve. He is straight down the groove.
