POMONA, Calif. - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 58th annual In-N-Out NHRA Finals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:
Right Lane: Joey Grose Runs 23.538/61.31, Now #1

Weather conditions: air temperature 71 degrees, relative humidity 15 percent, barometer 30.02 inches, adjusted altitude 2,011 feet.

Grose with severe tire shake right at the hit.

Left Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.584/208.97, Now #1
Right Lane: Val Smeland Runs 6.597/205.54, Now #2

A couple good clean passes, straight down the groove.

Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-0.989 sec., 330ft-2.763, 660ft-4.240/166.89 mph, 1,000ft-5.512.

Val Smeland's incremental times: 60ft-0.996 sec., 330ft-2.762, 660ft-4.235/166.76 mph, 1,000ft-5.511.

Left Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.528/210.21, Now #1
Right Lane: Steve Graham Runs 6.610/201.22, Now #4

Coughlin is straight down the groove with a good looking pass. Jeg Coughlin's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.729, 660ft-4.196/167.59 mph, 1,000ft-5.462.

Graham with a clean pass.

Prusiensky with a good pass.

Latino with severe tire shake right at the hit and clicked it off,

This is a good side-by-side drag race.

Cuadra kept it hooked up to go to the number two spot. Fernando Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.725, 660ft-4.191/167.45 mph, 1,000ft-5.460.

McGaha is straight down the groove, right there with Cuadra to the number three spot. Chris McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.737, 660ft-4.209/167.16 mph, 1,000ft-5.479.

Right Lane: Jerry Tucker Runs 6.525/210.44, Now #1

McGaha with a good clean pass, straight down the groove. Mason McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.974 sec., 330ft-2.736, 660ft-4.207/167.51 mph, 1,000ft-5.474.

Tucker kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight to go to the number one spot. Jerry Tucker's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.728, 660ft-4.196/167.68 mph, 1,000ft-5.460.

Kramer with a good looking pass to go to the number four spot. Deric Kramer's incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.731, 660ft-4.200/167.36 mph, 1,000ft-5.466.

Koretsky launched hard and kept it hooked to go to the number one spot. Kyle Koretsky's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.733, 660ft-4.197/168.22 mph, 1,000ft-5.459.

Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 6.500/210.01, Now #1
Right Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.501/211.10, Now #2

This is a great side-by-side drag race.

Coughlin is straight down the groove to the number one spot. Troy Coughlin Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.719, 660ft-4.178/168.66 mph, 1,000ft-5.437.

Stanfield is right there with him to the number two spot. Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.972 sec., 330ft-2.721, 660ft-4.181/168.56 mph, 1,000ft-5.439.

Right Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.513/210.31, Now #3

Glenn with a good pass.

Hartford kept it hooked up to go to the number three spot. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.973 sec., 330ft-2.725, 660ft-4.187/168.16 mph, 1,000ft-5.449.

This is a great side-by-side drag race. Anderson ties stanfield's E.T. but gives up the spot base on his slower speed. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.965 sec., 330ft-2.716, 660ft-4.178/168.49 mph, 1,000ft-5.438.

Enders is right there with him to the number four spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.963 sec., 330ft-2.716, 660ft-4.180/167.84 mph, 1,000ft-5.443.
