Pro Stock Qualifying Notes, Session #1

LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 1 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual NHRA Nevada Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time, top speed, and position in order following run:

Left Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.647/206.13, Now #1
Right Lane: Joey Grose Runs 6.725/202.21, Now #2

Weather conditions: air temperature 71 degrees, relative humidity 29 percent, barometer 29.92 inches, adjusted altitude 3,405 feet.

Coughlin Jr. is making his first appearance on the tour for the first time since this race in 2020. He is straight down the groove with a good looking pass.

Grose with a clean pass.

Left Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.711/205.63, Now #2
Right Lane: Steve Graham Runs 6.717/204.08, Now #3

Delco with a good pass, straight down the groove.

Graham was right there with him with a clean pass.

Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 6.763/201.70, Now #6
Right Lane: Eric Latino Runs 6.686/205.41, Now #2

Prusiensky with a clean pass to start the weekend.

Latino is straight down the groove with a nice pass.

Left Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 6.676/204.76, Now #3
Right Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 6.652/205.13, Now #2

This is good side-by-side drag race.

Cuadra kept it hooked up to go to the number three spot.

McGaha with a good looking pass, straight down the groove to the number two spot. Mason McGaha's incremental times: 60ft-0.976 sec., 330ft-2.761, 660ft-4.262/163.77 mph, 1,000ft-5.558.

Left Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.690/205.19, Now #6
Right Lane: Jerry Tucker Runs 6.651/207.02, Now #2

McGaha with a good pass to get in the top half of the show.
