POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 57th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Weather conditions: air temperature 61 degrees, relative humidity 45 percent, barometer 30.00 inches, adjusted altitude 1,552 feet, track temperature 86 degrees.

Mason McGaha is 1 -2 against Enders in Rd. 1. The No. 8 Pro Stock qualifier is 26-25 in Rd. 1 at this event. Erica Enders had qualified in the top half of the field at 33 consecutive races.

Enders is 7 - 2 against McGaha in prior events.

McGaha with a couple ticks on the tree, but rattled the tires. Enders had the lead by the time they went by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for the win. Enders makes her quickest pass of the weekend for the win.

Glenn with severe tire shake right at the hit and pushed the clutch back in.

He will give up lane choice to his son in the next round.

Caruso is a couple ticks too quick on the tree and turns on the red light to give Stanfield the win. He will have lane choice over Hartford in the next round by 0.006 seconds.

He will have lane choice over Butner in the next round.

The No. 1 Pro Stock qualifier has won this race 18 times, the most for any Pro class. Shane Tucker qualified No. 16 and in the last 25 years the No. 16 PS qualifier is 3 - 22 in Rd. 1 at this event.

This is the first time Tucker and Coughlin Jr. have faced each other in eliminations.

Tucker with the starting line advantage, but is real loose. He stays with it, but is out of the groove on the top end and collects the cone on the finish line.

Coughlin launched hard and kept it hooked up to make the quickest pass of the round for the win and lane choice over Enders in the next round, by 0.002 seconds.
