Pro Stock Qualifying Notes, Session #2

LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 22nd annual NHRA Nevada Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Deric Kramer Runs 6.614/206.04, Now #6; Best prior run: 23.874/28.35, Was #18
Right Lane: Shane Tucker No Time, Now #18; Best prior run: 19.788/39.43, Was #17

Weather conditions: air temperature 69 degrees, relative humidity 8 percent, barometer 30.18 inches, adjusted altitude 2,783 feet, track temperature 98 degrees.

Kramer is straight down the groove with a good clean pass to move into the top half of the show.

Tucker with problems after the burnout and is shut off.

Left Lane: Camrie Caruso Runs 6.633/206.76, Now #9; Best prior run: 13.297/64.15, Was #17
Right Lane: Chris McGaha Runs 6.643/206.13, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.666/206.73, Was #14

Caruso gets it to hook up to get in the show. Camrie Caruso's incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.761, 660ft-4.255/164.35 mph, 1,000ft-5.545.

McGaha improves and moves up the ladder a couple stops.

Left Lane: Alan Prusiensky Runs 13.412/63.36, Now #17; Best prior run: 6.687/205.22, Was #17
Right Lane: Kenny Delco Runs 6.655/206.86, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.654/207.08, Was #15

Prusiensky made a quick move toward the wall and clicked it off.

Delco with another good pass, but will not improve. Kenny Delco's incremental times: 60ft-0.991 sec., 330ft-2.783, 660ft-4.278/164.23 mph, 1,000ft-5.568.

Left Lane: Fernando Cuadra Jr. Runs 6.645/206.67, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.672/205.91, Was #16
Right Lane: Matt Hartford Runs 6.616/206.64, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.644/207.82, Was #13

Cuadra Jr. kept it hooked up to move up the ladder a couple spots.

Hartford was straight down the groove to move into the top half of the show. Matt Hartford's incremental times: 60ft-0.979 sec., 330ft-2.756, 660ft-4.246/164.73 mph, 1,000ft-5.532.

Left Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 6.672/206.99, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.649/206.61, Was #15
Right Lane: Mason McGaha Runs 6.646/207.59, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.639/207.88, Was #12

Cuadra is real loose early and he will not improve.

McGaha with another good pass, but will not improve.

Left Lane: Kyle Koretsky Runs 6.624/207.62, Now #10; Best prior run: 6.636/207.53, Was #11
Right Lane: Cristian Cuadra Runs 6.616/206.89, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.621/207.24, Was #9

Koretsky with a good pass, his quickest pass of the day. He moves up the ladder one spot. Kyle Koretsky's incremental times: 60ft-0.977 sec., 330ft-2.761, 660ft-4.253/164.91 mph, 1,000ft-5.541.

Cuadra with a good looking pass, straight down the groove to move into the top half of the show. Cristian Cuadra's incremental times: 60ft-0.975 sec., 330ft-2.754, 660ft-4.244/164.83 mph, 1,000ft-5.531.

Left Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.606/207.50, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.620/207.40, Was #9
Right Lane: Bo Butner Runs 6.610/208.01, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.613/208.14, Was #5

Anderson with the quickest short time of the session and he ties Coughlin Jr.'s E.T., but will give up the spot based on his slower speed. Greg Anderson's incremental times: 60ft-0.970 sec., 330ft-2.750, 660ft-4.239/165.07 mph, 1,000ft-5.524.

Butner with his quickest pass of the day, but stays in the number five spot. Bo Butner's incremental times: 60ft-0.973 sec., 330ft-2.753, 660ft-4.242/165.11 mph, 1,000ft-5.528.

Left Lane: Dallas Glenn Runs 19.347/73.79, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.610/207.85, Was #6
Right Lane: Troy Coughlin Jr. Runs 32.808/164.09, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.606/208.17, Was #3

Glenn with severe tire shake and clicks it off.

Coughlin Jr. also with a lot of tire shake and pushes in the clutch.

Left Lane: Erica Enders Runs 6.597/208.26, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.600/207.85, Was #2
Right Lane: Aaron Stanfield Runs 6.596/207.62, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.595/207.11, Was #1

Enders makes a move to the left, but reels it in and goes to the number two spot. Erica Enders' incremental times: 60ft-0.966 sec., 330ft-2.743, 660ft-4.231/165.09 mph, 1,000ft-5.516.

Stanfield launched hard and kept it hooked up to make another good pass. He is a tick slower than his pass from earlier today. He holds on for the number one spot. Aaron Stanfield's incremental times: 60ft-0.971 sec., 330ft-2.741, 660ft-4.228/165.07 mph, 1,000ft-5.513.
