MADISON, Ill. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Funny Car at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 11th annual NHRA Midwest Nationals:

Capps is 51 - 29 against Pedregon in prior events.
A good side-by-side, both right down the groove with clean straight passes. Capps gets the advantage off of the line and extends his lead all the way through the run.

Hagan is 23 - 15 against Tasca III in prior events.
Tasca gets out of the gate first, stays in front to the sixty foot mark, then hagan is able to get around him and start pulling away. Tasca starts making up ground late in the run but Hagan was able to hold him off and take the win.

Matt Hagan's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.002), 330 ft(0.012), 660ft(0.007). MOV: 0.0036 seconds (approximately 21 inches).

Force is 13 - 8 against Todd in prior events.
Force gets out of the gate first but Todd goes around him before they reach the sixty foot mark. Todd stays in front past the 660 foot mark, then Force is able to get around him just before they reach the finish line.
John Force's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.026), 330 ft(-0.014), 660ft(-0.008). MOV: 0.0055 seconds (approximately 3 feet).

Capps will have lane choice over Force in the next round.

Another good side-by-side, both down the groove with clean, straight passes. Wilkerson gets the advantage off of the line, stays in front to the sixty foot mark, then hight goes around him and pulls away with the quickest pass of the round to take the win.
Robert Hight's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.006), 330 ft(0.010), 660ft(0.029). MOV: 0.0424 seconds (approximately 20 feet).

Hight will have lane choice over Hagan in the next round.
