POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, 56th annual Auto Club NHRA Finals:

Myers with a slight starting line advantage, but had severe tire shake and clicked it off.

Nataas is straight down the groove with good clean pass for the win.

She will give up lane choice to Fricke in the semifinal.

This is the first time Grisel and McPhillips Jr. have faced each other in eliminations.

Grisel with the starting line advantage, he had a little tire haze, but drove through it.

McPhillips launched hard and kept it hooked up and hitting on all eight for the win. He runs the third quickest pass in the history of the class. He will have lane choice over Salinas in the semifinal.

Rich McPhillips Jr.'s incremental times: 60ft-0.923 sec., 330ft-2.344, 660ft-3.404/235.43 mph, 1,000ft-4.312.
