CONCORD, N.C. - Both Brittany and John Force enjoyed another impressive performance in qualifying on Friday, as each raced their way to provisional No. 1 positions in Top Fuel and Funny Car, respectively at the DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway.

Aaron Stanfield (Pro Stock) and Steve Johnson (Pro Stock Motorcycle) are also the provisional No. 1 qualifiers at the 15th of 20 races during the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season and the second race in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

Top Fuel provisional No. 1 qualifier Brittany Force drove her Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster to a 3.662 second pass at 331.85 mph.

Brittany Force continued her qualifying dominance, rolling to the top with a run of 3.662 at 331.85, tying the track E.T. record. If it holds, it would be the 8th straight No. 1 for Force.

Funny Car provisional No. 1 qualifier John Force drove his PEAK Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car to a 3.860 second pass at 332.18 mph.

Force, the current Funny Car points leader, drove to the top spot with a standout run of 3.860 at 332.18 at zMAX Dragway. If it holds, it would be Force's 163rd career No. 1 qualifier.

Pro Stock provisional No. 1 qualifier Aaron Stanfield drove his Janac Brothers Chevrolet Camaro to a 6.575 second pass at 208.59 mph.

Pro Stock's Aaron Stanfield drove his Camaro to the No. 1 position with a pass of 6.575 at 208.59. If it holds, it would be Stanfield's first career No. 1 qualifier in the class.

Pro Stock Motorcycle provisional No. 1 qualifier Steve Johnson rode his Mac Rak/Slick 50 Suzuki to 6.807 second pass at 196.47 mph.

Pro Stock Motorcycle points leader Steve Johnson raced to the provisional top spot after going 6.8-7 at 196.47. If it holds, it would be Johnson's second No. 1 qualifier this season, which would mark the first time in his career he's qualified No. 1 twice in a season.
